  1. Christmas pudding

Whether your guest is vegetarian or not, they’ll be expecting to see a Christmas pudding on the dinner table. It is one of the most loved desserts to eat after Christmas dinner. Do you have your Christmas pudding with custard or cream?

Just because you’re a vegetarian doesn’t mean you have to miss out. You create your own vegetarian stuffing with caramelised squash, red onions, sage, cranberries and pistachios. That sounds yummy to us!

  1. Beetroot and red onion tart

Are you looking for a light lunch you can prepare for those busy days during the festive period? It can be hard trying to find vegetarian Christmas recipes that taste good and filling. • Baked Squash

We’re almost at the end of our suggestions for vegetarian Christmas recipes. If you’re feeling peckish and in the mood for a light lunch, a baked squash is your best bet. There are many ingredients you can stuff your squash with, but we recommend:

  • Red onions
  • Fresh sage
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Chestnuts
  • Basmati rice
  • Dried cranberries.

These ingredients complement each other well and are packed with flavour. We’re in the mood for some ourselves.

  1. Savoury loaf

Christmas is all about indulging in nice food, after all, calories don’t count at Christmas. When we found this recipe, we knew we had to put it on the list. Swirled butternut squash, feta and sage loaf. Just the thought of this is making us hungry, but it really does sound delicious.

As far as bread goes, we don’t think it gets any better than this. This makes a great snacking item on the dinner table whilst you wait for the main meal. Not only does it sound tasty, but it looks pretty. Its festive colouring really gets you in the Christmas spirit.

Is it acceptable to eat this for the whole of December?
